Web Series Title Suggestions

Posted by Hey-Its-G - June 18th, 2020

Greetings, Reader.

I've been planning a pilot episode for a web series I want to create in the future and I'm having trouble coming up with a title. Here's the plot and what I have for titles so far.

Synopsis: When part of Cyber Space is taken over by Miniature Governmental Airliners (MGAs), three girls and their pet giraffe fly out as they start their new lives as truants beyond the masses looking for a new place to live and avoid further oppression from outside businesses/corporations.

Potential Series Titles: Off The Radar, Operation Runaways

Potential Episode Titles: Off The Radar, High Tech Deviance

If you have any ideas for titles, please reply. Thank you.

Hi! I'm no expert on titles, but I have watched a lot of cartoons over the years, and I have novels that I'm working on, so I'm not totally inexperienced on the subject. From the synopsis you provided, it seems to be a show/series leaning more towards children than adults. If that's what you were going for, I would suggest a series title that is simple and easy for kids to remember. An example: instead of "Operation Runaways," "Planet Hooky." It came to me a few minutes after reading the post. I'm not sure how good it is as a series title, but maybe it would work as an episode title. However, if the show veers towards a more adult audience like "The Simpsons," I think the title "Operation Runaways" is a great choice for the series. Back to the subject of a possible child-based audience, I suggest naming episodes fun things. Try using alliterations that include one of the character's names. For a rough (and most likely improbable) example, perhaps in one episode, a character named Nancy accidentally shuts down the group's internet access. The episode could be called "No Net Nancy," or something like that.

I hope this is of some use to you, I will try to think of some more potential titles in the future if I'm not too busy :)

I can't wait for the pilot to air, and best of luck to you in the future!
